This programme was created in 2019 for the German-Maltese Circle in Valetta. We thoroughly enjoyed our selection of German, English and French Advent carols in combination with wintry art songs and solos inspired by sacred music, and would like to continue presenting it. We not only bring together Paul Gerhardt, Schemelli, Bach, Adolphe Adam, Schubert and Dowland, but also our own arrangements of lesser-known Advent carols.
