Brahms’, Dowland’s and Falla’s songs are full of character, Berio’s “Sequenza” as well as a Whitman setting for solo female voice and Ginastera’s guitar sonata make the concert experience vivid.
We are pleased that the Augsburger Allgemeine wrote a review (“How to unlock hearts”, april 26, 2018) about this program.
„This recital, which [Julia Spies] also moderated thoughtfully and with a dose of humour, confirmed her (....) courage to give extraordinary song recitals“
